Potscher now attacking other people. I thought he was only angry with econometricians (Hansen here). Rather, now he is also upset with senior and junior statisticians (Portnoy and Lei, respectively). 

If I were them, I won't even reply this time.

I guessed he got upset because they wrote that he also has mistakes in his note on Hansen's paper.

To conclude, I reiterate what I wrote in this mailing list a while ago. We are all humans and we can all do mistakes. More generally, there are two types of authors: the ones who had mistakes in their past papers, and the ones who will have mistakes in their future papers. The important is to focus on concepts and to not loose integrity.
