Dear Students, We would like to share the following internship opportunity that is currently available to EEBL students who speak both Italian and English. The opportunity is open to all students for a three or six month period. The internship will be done remotely for the Chamber of Commerce’s London Headquarter who can start in February-March (London) and for the Scottish Branch for those who can start in March-April (Edinburgh). Internship - Assistant Trade Analyst The work placement: - Contract of 3/6 months – remote internship only - Monday to Friday (9:00 - 17:30 GMT) General duties include: - office administrative duties; - supporting the Manager with the planning and execution of online events; - the compilation of lists of contacts in specific sectors; - maintaining and updating customer databases; - answering calls and taking messages; - carrying out market research and producing reports; - handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly; - maintaining correspondence with ICCIUK members. Requirements for candidates: - Essential to be proficient both in English and Italian - Strong research skills, especially internet research - Excellent organisational skills - ability to work independently - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to the target audience - Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines - Knowledge of social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) - A self-motivated and independent work ethic, but with strong teamwork skills The short-listed candidates will be invited to an interview via Skype or by phone.
