Dear EEBL students,

The Financial Regulation Compliance unit of the Risk Control Office at ENEL is looking for a curious and enthusiastic student to start a curricular internship (5-6 months). The candidate should have a strong interest in the regulation of financial markets and wholesale energy markets.

 

The Financial Regulation Compliance unit guarantees the homogeneity and consistency of the Enel Group's compliance with the regulations applicable to the trading of financial instruments and aimed at guaranteeing the transparency and integrity of the markets (EMIR Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, MiFID II Directive, REMIT Regulation, Dodd-Frank Act).

 

The student will deal with:

• support the analysis and monitoring of the evolution of financial regulation, as well as participation in working groups for advocacy activities;

• draft documents, presentations, guidelines, etc. on financial regulation (both in Italian and English) and assist the Group Financial Regulation Committee organization;

• support assessment activities in compliance with financial regulation by interfacing with the relevant Functions/Country/Business Lines;

• participate in other initiatives, work groups and transversal activities of Risk Control.

 

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word

• Excellent editing skills: analysis, synthesis and drafting of documents

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (knowledge of Spanish will be a plus)

• Knowledge of the functioning of European institutions and European Union Law

 

The curricular internship allows the acquisition of CFU and is addressed to students who will not graduate before spring 2021.
