I am pleased to share with you the Call for Papers for a forthcoming Special Issue of the International Journal of Public Sector Management — which I am co-editing with Nicola Cucari, António Fernando Tavares, and Ellen Haustein — titled: “The Future of Local Governance and Management: Leadership, Participation, and Public Sector Entrepreneurial Spirit for Innovation.” This Special Issue seeks to advance our understanding of how local governments—particularly small municipalities—are reimagining governance in the face of increasing decentralization, digital transformation, and evolving citizen expectations.
