Dear MESCI family,

We are pleased to invite you to attend the International Conference “Renaissance in Economics”, which will take place on May 14–15, 2026 in Rome, hosted by Tor Vergata University and Roma Tre University.

MESCI will actively contribute to the conference through the participation of its professors, alumni, and students. Please find the agenda attached, below are a few highlights:

• May 14 at 2:45 PM – Prof. Ravi Canvur will lead a session addressing the question: “Is There a Development Economics Anymore?”
• May 15 at 10:00 AM -Young Paper award Session

Additionally, you are invited to register for the pre-conference workshop, which will be held on May 13 at 2:00 PM. Further details can be found in the attached flyer.

Please remember to register in advance to secure your place. Participation is free of charge, but seats are limited.
