Since the Festival of Civil Econmy starts tomorrow on the behalf of our Director Porf. Becchhetti I am sending you this reminder:

 

Peace, the fight against poverty, the climate challenge, the demographic crisis, wage stagnation...

If people listen to everything on the news without leaving their sofas, desperation is just around the corner.

As we on the list know well, we live in an era of tragedies but also of extraordinary opportunities that we must learn to seize for the flourishing of our lives and that of our societies.

The meeting of the generative community is one of the most beautiful experiences we have had the fortune to live.

From tomorrow to Sunday, we offer this experience to everyone in Florence at the National Festival of Civil Economy. We are there to welcome each of you. It will be a great celebration for us.

Two Nobel Prize laureates, Abhijit Banerjee and Michael Spence, will be present, along with Kaushik Basu, Chair of the United Nations Wellbeing Commission. Additionally, Martin Guzman, former Argentine Finance Minister and coordinator of the Vatican’s commission on foreign debt, will also be attending.
