I would to share with you below initiave shared from one of our professors for UN SDG Action Awards.

The deadline to apply for it has been extended until 7 May 2023, 23:59 EST.

Winners and finalists will be unveiled at an inspiring and creative UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony taking place on 24 July in Rome, Italy during the official opening day of the 2023 UN Food Systems Stocktaking Moment, which will be hosted by the Government of Italy  at the premises of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with the collaboration of the Rome UN Based-agencies, the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub and the wider UN system. 🏆 UN SDG Action Awards DEADLINE EXTENDED to 7 May

 

Are you working on an initiative that drives positive change and contributes to the achievement of the SDGs? Do you know a changemaker making a difference towards a more inclusive, peaceful and sustainable future? You have an extra week to submit your application/nomination! 

Imagination carries great power. What we can imagine, we can make happen. By tapping into our creativity and diversity anchored in trust and solidarity, we can work together to create the future in which we thrive in harmony with the planet. This is why the UN SDG Action Campaign is seeking initiatives and individuals who Flip the Script and bring positive change and transformative solutions to the most pressing challenges by mobilizing, inspiring or connecting hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of individuals towards the vision of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

We’ve been overwhelmed with the positive response so far and we would like to ensure that everyone has enough time to prepare their applications so we can find those incredible initiatives and individuals out there that deserve to be recognized! Therefore, the deadline to apply to the UN SDG Action Awards has been extended until 7 May 2023, 23:59 EST.
