Dear Academic Initiative Member and Other Skill-Building Enthusiasts,

Encourage your students to show off their talents and help solve some  
of the world’s most challenging problems by manipulating IBM’s Bluemix  
and developing robust Internet of Things mobile applications around  
various themes: Smart Homes & Buildings; Connected Travel &  
Transportation; and Smarter Healthcare.
IBM has partnered with 4YFN (Four Years From Now - part of Mobile  
World Congress) and with several telecommunications companies to  
create the Global Mobile Innovators Tournament.
This Bluemix-based tournament includes 15 virtual Challenges and 5  
regional Demo Days in major cities: Bangalore, Los Angeles, Toronto,  
London & Amsterdam, culminating with a grand finale on stage at the  
4YFN conference in Barcelona in February 2016.
The Finalist Teams who make it to Barcelona will also have  
opportunities to meet with founders and investors, showcase their  
applications, attend multiple networking parties and much more!
