Dear Colleagues,

for those of you who have an interest in the study of economic “facts" in the long run, I take the liberty to recommend tomorrow’s seminar (March 22, 12pm). It will feature Michelangelo Vasta (U. Siena) e Giovanni Federico (U. Pisa), who are two of the country’s top scholars in the field of quantitative economic history. They will present a paper analysing the relationship between economists and economic historians, based on an a unique and extraordinary dataset, which can spark a truly interdisciplinary discussion, I believe - I am thinking, to be more precise, about quantitative methods, economics and economic history.
